Toto, meet Bryce/Simcity

Note: I'm Ryan Hartwich, a CF Certified programmer, manager for the Kansas City CFUG and new owner of FusionDB.com. I have written a number of articles for Fusion Authority and will be blogging my MAX (and probably LA) experiences over the next week. ----

Sat, Oct 15 - Ryan Lucky me, I left the house this morning at 4:09am with precisely 35 minutes of shut eye (though not asleep). I managed to get to sleep on the plane and that helped immensely. The flight was uneventful and the ending was great. I've flown many times including internationally, but have rarely seen mountains from the plane so the last 30 minutes was enjoyable.

Take a look at the first three pictures. Did you ever work with a program called Bryce? SimCity? The pictures just scream overhead view from Simcity and Bryce 3D!

Fun to look at, I wish it wasn't so hazy out. Of course, it was pretty early and the sun was just coming up on a cool fall day.

Apparently, I'm not in Kansas anymore...Toto!

Check out the first 2 funky buildings on my way to MAX. The weird tower

is a horror ride at Disneyland or California Adventures and the cube

is the Discovery Science Center, which I'll be going to after Max. I'm looking forward to CF_Underground in a few minutes and Max.

I'm Here!

Just landed in Anaheim and am sitting in the Mariott Starbucks.

I may be the first person to have arrived!

More to come... tons of mail to catch up on.

Laterz! - Jared
